On May 25, in London will take place the WBA and IBF title unification bout at super-middleweight. The four-time world champion Mikkel Kessler of Denmark and three-time world champion, The Englishman Carl Froch rematch. Their first fight was on April, 2010.
In 2010, in Herning, Denmark, it was the real war! With the unanimous decision, but in very close fight, as the winner was pronounced Kessler. Froch had the objections, that he was robbed and that the victory was given to the home fighter. After this epic battle Kessler retired, but not for long, soon he was back and won another world title. Froch, in his turn, won the belt twice again and also had a lose in Super Six Series final, against The American, Andre Ward. So, who will be the best this time, 34-years-old Viking Warrior Kessler, or 35-years-old The Cobra Froch?
PREDICTION: The question comes itself; if in Denmark won The Dane, then fair enough will be if in England would win The Englishman! But I am sure this is not only about the geography. It is clear that if this time the winner will be Froch, then the third fight, as the conclusion, definitely will happen. And the financial advantage of this alternative, for the promoters and for the fighters themselves, is unquestionable. Of course, for the loser of this fight, whoever it will be, it can be the end of the story, but there is always some but! Whatever, I would bet 70/30 on Froch!
