Saturday, September 8, on the both coasts of Atlantic ocean will fight some of the best fighters in world. The supe-middleweight super-fight in the States and the heavyweight title bout in Russia, and also very exiting undercards
In Oakland, California will go on super-fight at super-middleweight between two, probably, the best fighters today. Super Six Series winner Andre Ward will defend his WBA and WBC belts against Chad Dawson, who vacated his light-heavyweight WBC title for this. For Ward it's going to be his 5-th defence of WBA belt and the first WBC belt's defence, he still unbeaten in his 25 fights of which 13 went in way of KO. Dawson was 7-time WBC and IBF light-heavyweight champion with record of 31 (17 KO)-1 and 2 no contests, with only one loss to Canadian Jean Pascal in 2010 and brilliant win over Bernard Hopkins in last April. It is going to be the real 50/50 fight!
At the same bill Mexican southpaw Antonio DeMarco will defend for the second time his WBC lightweight title against tall and dangerous American John Molina, who is 24 (19 KO)-1. DeMarco himself has the record of 27(20 KO)-2(1 KO)-1, he won his title in October 2011 beating by TKO in 11 Jorge Linares of Venecuela.
Well, nothing much to tell about the show in Moscow, exept that if before brothers Klitschko fought the guys who they used to beat already couple of years ago, guys who actualy wasn't bad some 5 or 10 years ago, and just were taken for another beating-up trip. Then now "the clever brothers" started to look for the guys who nobody knows at all! The oldest of two, Vitali, 41, will defend his WBC title against 27-years-old Lebanese from Germany, Manuel Charr. Charr, maybe not a bad pal himself, but looks more like bodybuilder, is unbeaten in 21 fights with 11 KO's, the most notable wins are over two "fallen stars", Englishman Danny Williams and Ukrainian Taras Bidenko, which definitely is not the keys to the world title shot! The champion himself has 44(40 KO)-2(2 KO) and looks like he is insuring himself for another solid win. Well, everything is good as long anyone are happy!
And one more former world champion will fight in Newark, NJ. Pole Tamasz Adamek, 35, former WBC light-heavy and IBF cruiserweight champion of the world, also WBC heavyweight challenger will defend his IBF North American title at heavyweight. Adamek, now 46(28 KO)-2(1 KO) will take on big fellow Travis Walker, 33, 39(31 KO)-7(5 KO)-1, who is a big puncher, but also has a questionable chin, but...had a decision losses against the strong hitting guys as world ex-champion Ruslan Chagaev and current European champion Kubrat Pulev.
So, the saturday night is going to be a very exiting night for the boxing fans!
