On December 17 his Birthday is celebrating one of the best fighters of the last decade. Because of his physiological abilities, boxing talent and personal qualities he does not only granted his name into the boxing history, but also became the ambassador of his country all around the world. And also, two more great fighters are celebrating their days today.
Manny Pacquiao, or Emanuel Dapidran Pacquiao, was born 1978 in Kibawe, The Philippines. The fourth child of six, he left home in 14, because his mother was to poor to take care of such a large family on her own. In the capital Manila, Manny starts to boxing. Being the member of the National Junior team he doesn't have anymore to worry about the food and the room, now it is under the guidance of the government. Manny's amateur record was 60-4.
In 1995, being only 16, Manny turns pro and three years later wins his first world title, in Bangkok knocking out The Thai, Chatchai Sasakul, for the WBC flyweight belt. In 2001, in Las Vegas, Manny knocks out The South African, Lehlohonolo Lebwaba, in the sixth, and becomes IBF super-bantamweight champion. In 2008, Pacquiao, in very tough battle, beats Juan Manuel Marquez from Mexico and wins the WBC super-featherweight belt. At the same year comes also WBC lightweight title, after Pacquiao stops in the nine The American, David Diaz. At November, 2009, Manny stops Miguel Cotto of Puerto-Rico in the twelve and gets WBO welterweight title, but exactly one year later he beats on points The Mexican, Antonio Margarito, and earns the WBC light-middleweight crown. Altogether, Manny has six the most prestigious belts in seven different weight divisions and in the two more weights he has another championship belts. And all this were succeed in more than 40 pounds difference between the first and the latest Manny's weight division. This is unique and unbelievable achievement, could say even Phenomenon! It is not necessary to count all the opponents, who Manny has fought and won, all of them are the brightest figures in today's boxing, but three the most dramatic of Pacquiao's rivals were The Mexican trio- Marco Antonio Barrera, Erik Morales and Juan Manuel Marquez, which he fought against the multiple times. Against Marquez, Pacquiao gets knocked out in their four meeting. Now, Pacquiao's record is 55(38 KO)-5(3 KO)-2 and if we count that Manny came back with the perfect win and in the great shape, then whole world is still wondering, will the mega-fight against Floyd Mayweather Jr. come true? or not!? In his home country, Pacquiao is named as the best ever Philippino athlete, Manny was invited to carry the flag of The Philippines on 2008 Beijing Summer Olympics opening ceremony. Outside the ring, Manny has the pharmacy net all around The Philippines and he is the congressman of Sarangani county. Chuck Liddell, or Charles David Liddell, was born 1969 in Santa-Barbara, California. Liddell "The Iceman" is one of the worlds greatest and the most payed fighters in MMA. Chuck started with karate and kickboxing, later on he took up Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, he became the striking fighter, who knock his opponents out and could take the punch himself. Liddell has the most knockout and victory record at light-heavyweight division, and the second best knockout record at all UFC history. From 1998 until 2010, Chuck has fought almost all the best UFC fighters. Liddell still live in California where he owns MMA memorabilia store, also he is the owner of two bars in Lincoln, Nebrasca. The Iceman acts in the number of Hollywood movies. Today Chuck Liddell celebrates his 44-th Birthday!
Rowshan Huseynov was born 1975 in Yeghegnadzor, Armenia. He is the first ever Azerbaijani amateur boxer, who won the highest class tournaments. Being the kid, he with his family moved to parent's home land, Azerbaijan's capital, Baku, where Rowshan became the boxer. In 1993, he became The Junior (under 19) European Champion in Thessaloniki, Greece and Senior European Champion in Bursa, Turkey, at flyweight (51 kg). In 1994, in Bangkok, Huseynov won the World Cup, but in 1996 he qualified to Atlanta Olympics, but due to the serious leg injury, which he earned in the car-accident, Rowshan doesn't go to the States. His Olympic start came true only in 2004, in Athens, when he lost in quarterfinals to the famous Cuban, Mario Kindelan, at the lightweight (60 kg). Now, Rowshan Huseynov is the vice-president of Azerbaijani Boxing Federation and the international boxing judge. Today he is celebrating his 38-th Birtday Party!
